Mosquito control trucks to spray in Cylburn neighborhood Sunday
Mosquito control trucks will spay in the Cylburn neighborhood in Northwest Baltimore Sunday night, the city's health department said.
The spraying is part of an ongoing program throughout the state by the Maryland Department of Agriculture to prevent mosquito-borne diseases, including the West Nile and Zika viruses. Weather permitting, spraying will begin at 7:30 p.m. between Pimlico Road and Lanier Avenue and between Cylburn and Virginia avenues, officials said.
Residents should remain indoors during the spraying and for up to two hours after. Residents should also close windows and HVAC vents and bring pet dishes, bird feeders, and children's toys inside.
