Baltimore is Latest City to Announce Crackdown on Synthetic Drugs

Jurisdictions all over the U.S. have been dealing with a surge of synthetic drugs in recent years, and many are cracking down hard on the substances, which can be cheaper and more potent than their traditional counterparts.
This month alone, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio signed legislation banning the sale of the drugs in the country’s most populous city, and the DEA announced that federal agents had arrested more than 100 people in a national investigation that began in July 2014.
